⛨ BACKTAGGING: Yes please, sometimes I can boomerang, other times I'm very slow because of work. There's no limit for threads I'm willing to pick back up again, too.
⛨ THREADHOPPING: Just don't spam my inbox.
⛨ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Sure. Ryan is a very touchy-feely kinda guy and has no problem with casual physical contact, though he will back off quickly if it seems to bother the other person.
⛨ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Sure. Ryan got passing grades in what amounted to minimum standards of combat training for the Alliance's academy (assuming some basic hand-to-hand as well as sharpshooting).

Since I'm assuming most people have not listened to EOS 10, on the bright side it's pretty easy to merge with or port into other sci-fi space travel shows. Here's some quick AUs for Ryan I've thought up for various other more popular franchises.
★ STAR TREK: Ryan's a medical officer with Starfleet serving on the station Deep Space 10 after being assigned there to help the brilliant but troubled Dr Urvidian clean up his act. His father is a decorated Admiral within the federation and unbeknownst to Ryan works closely with Section 31.
★ STAR WARS: Empire (or First Order)-born citizen with his father being very high ranking within it. Ryan was mostly a good little cog in the machine until a run-in with the turncoat turned rebel Akmazian had him second-guessing everything he'd been raised to believe. Works with the Rebellion from the inside, knowing his family gives him a certain amount of leeway to get away with things and that even if it's dangerous he's more useful on the Inside as long as he can be.
★ MASS EFFECT: Space station doctor, his father a military admiral and involved in the Systems Alliance. He's seemingly a moderate, politically speaking, but unbeknownst to most (including Ryan) he harbors humanity-first ideals and is absolutely distrustful of all alien races and thinks Humanity should always be the leader in any situation. Ryan on the other hand is actually for humanity's mixing with the cultures of other peoples and being able to meet so many is part of why he wanted to work on a station in the first place.
★ THE EXPANSE: Earther with his Admiral father being absolutely why he was able to get into medical school and stay there in the first place even after he should have rightfully been thrown out thanks to the addiction. Something he's never let Ryan forget, especially since that stain on his reputation by proxy means his father can't rock the boat politically speaking. Ryan gladly works in space and has sought out education on the specific needs of people from Mars as well as Belters to be the best doctor he can be. His father was absolutely involved in every earth-first conspiracy that happened during the course of the show but on the fringes of it just enough to avoid being implicated when things went south, and by the end was in a position of 'we have too few capable people left to be choosy about who had who as friends'. Ryan doesn't hide who his father is exactly but he doesn't clarify the relation unless asked directly.
